Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Vouch (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Vouch mobile or web application (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Vouch. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 17 we will remove the account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at team@vouch-now.com immediately.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

Vouch is a community for sharing places you trust. To keep it safe, we operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree that you will not post, submit, or share any content that:

• is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive towards a minor;
• incites or threatens violence, contains hate speech, or targets a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• harasses, bullies, stalks, intimidates, doxxes, or otherwise abuses another user;
• is fraudulent, deceptive, spam, a scam, or otherwise misleading;
• infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity;
• promotes illegal activity, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous behaviour;
• contains malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the Service or other users.

You also agree not to impersonate another person, create accounts in bulk, scrape the Service, evade a ban or block, or attempt to circumvent any of our moderation systems.

4. Reporting and blocking

Any user can report a vouch, comment, or place by long-pressing the content and choosing Report. Reports are reviewed by a human moderator, typically within 24 hours. Any user can also Block another user; blocked users cannot see your content and you will not see theirs.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users that we determine, in our sole discretion, have breached these Terms — particularly the zero-tolerance section above. Severe or repeated breaches result in immediate and permanent termination of the account with no refund of any kind.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the vouches, comments, photos, and place submissions you post. By posting, you grant Vouch a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service so other users can see it. We do not sell your content.

6. Moderation of submitted places

Places submitted via the Add Place flow enter a moderation queue and are reviewed by a human admin before they appear on the public Discover map. We may decline to publish a place that duplicates an existing entry, is closed, promotes regulated products outside their lawful market, or otherwise breaches these Terms.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We make no warranties about availability, accuracy of place data, or fitness for any purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vouch is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
